Dear Friend,
On A Personal Note...
I had the most fun getting friend and fabulous client Lisa Lampanelli ready for the Grammy Awards this past weekend. Lisa was nominated for best comedy album and together
with designer Cibeline Sariano; we had Lisa ready to take the Grammy red carpet by storm!
Lisa's custom made leopard dress with Swarovski crystal beads, fuchsia crinoline, white French cuffs and collar made the flash bulbs flutter as she hammed it up for the
press. Big sexy hair and fun false eyelashes rounded out the campy Grammy look that I had a blast creating.
If you have never heard Lisa's comedy, know that she is a crass act – yes CRASS – with a big heart! The whole event was amazing and I
couldn't be more proud to dress the lovable Queen of Mean!
Be Happy! Be Beautiful! Be Thrifty!

With the coldest days of winter upon us, you may find that the wind and harsh elements leave your hair dry and brittle. Instead of washing every time you need a refresher,
just condition your hair and skip the shampoo.
Since we tend to produce less oil during the winter months, you'll find that you can go longer between washings and can easily skip shampoo every other time you go to wash
your hair. Using shampoo a bit more sparingly during the winter months is a thrifty chic way to help keep your locks silky and soft... bounin' and behavin'!
February is the coldest yuckiest month of the year, but it is also the month you'll find all the cozy clothes your heart can handle for pennies on the dollar! Loungewear,
tracksuits, warm-ups and other two-piece throw-ons are on the 50% off rack this month... just in time!
Fleece lined, terry cloth, velour and basic cotton warm-up suits are the last to go on sale at the end of the season, but the time is finally here. These comfy clothes are
considered winter gear, but the truth is we wear them all year long.
The terry cloth variety serves us well during the summer months, so keep your eyes peeled for those and opt for a bright color. You will always feel more perky and stylish if
you are sporting a fabulous unexpected hue during your down time.
Be sure to choose straight leg styles - no tapered pants or worse elastic at the ankles - and zip front hoodies that hit around your hip bone - nothing to long or droopy!
Flattering lounge wear is a wardrobe necessity and knowing you look great no matter the occasion or circumstance does a lot to affect your mood.
So this is the time to cast off your oversized tee shirts and baggy sweat pants and go for cozy clothes you are excited to put on... you will find them on the sale rack this
month. Enjoy your Cents of Style!!

Have You Tried...
L'Oreal Bare Naturale Concealer?
If these little mineral pots with a brush on top have caught your eye while cruising the cosmetic aisle, go ahead and give'em a try. I was very curious about this L'Oreal
concealer... I couldn't imagine that a powder concealer would look very natural. But, the little pot looked like a perfect size for my make up bag, so I gave it a try.
I was shocked at how well this covers and it's fabulous for touch ups around the nose and in between the eyes during the day. I confess that I get a much better result using
the Andy Paige concealer brush, but the little one that comes with the pot
is great for touch ups on the go.
I've been using mine for several weeks now and still have more than half a jar left, so though it's almost $12 bucks, you'll get lots of wear out of it. Just $11.95 with free shipping at drugstore.com!
