What Is The Perfect Length for Trousers?

When it comes to trouser length you have two options. If you know the shoes you wish to wear with your pants, have them hemmed to one finger off the floor with your shoes on. The tailor should be able to cleanly run their hand along the floor and have it skim the hem.

If you want to wear the pants with several different shoes, have the pants hemmed to the base of the back of your foot, perfectly hitting the floor, while in your stocking feet. This will ensure they always cover the back ankle cap of your shoe which will make your legs look longer.
