On A Personal Note...

The sun is beginning to shine more brightly, so I wanted to take a minute to remind you all of the importance of sun block…everyday…no matter what! A better anti aging treatment has yet to be invented!

We should all be wearing a minimum of SPF 15 on our face everyday, but with the outdoors calling to us, it may be time to up that number. Remember that the number is buying you time. With an SPF 15 you can expect to stay out in the sun 15 times your natural sun capacity without being burned or receiving damage.

Make sure to buy and use full spectrum coverage for both your face and body. You want to use an SPF with both UVA (the aging rays) and UVB (the burning rays) protection.

I want us all to live longer and look great doing it and adding this simple addition to your daily routine will keep your skin looking and feeling fabulous!

Barely worn items that just didn't work out for one person could be exactly what you are looking for. So stop by your local thrift or resale store when you have a chance this month; you may be pleasantly surprised.

Once the spring holidays pass, spring sales start to bloom. Here's what to look for the latter half of April.

> Dresses - Many stores pack the racks preparing for the yearly craving of a new Easter or Passover dress. Hop quickly like a bunny to find great dresses reduced and on the sale rack.

> Raincoats - If you've been hankering for a fabulous bright colored rain coat, the end of April is the time to buy it. The stores want them out of sight before May.

> Knit, Knit, Knit - In mere weeks, many knits will feel too heavy in summer's heat, so stores push them out in April.

> Luggage - The stores overstock luggage for spring-breakers, so look for delightful discounts that will get these bulky items moving! Luggage eats valuable retail space and once spring break is "broke" stores want them gone!
