On A Personal Note...

Congratulations to Carrie Lavorini of Villa Park, Illinois! Carrie was the long awaited winner of the Special Chicago Make-Over Contest! I had an incredible time working with her and gained so much from the experience. She is amazing! Carrie's beauty radiates beyond measure! I am honored to call her my new friend... my drop dead gorgeous, revamped, re-energized, super hottie new friend!!!

The Special Chicago Make-Over was the very important project that I asked you to keep in your thoughts and prayers several weeks ago. I am happy to report that the sun shined brightly on my time in Chicago and with Carrie! I hope to visit other fabulous cities and surprise more of you this fall! Thank you so much for keeping me in your heart!

Tips

Waterproof mascara finds its way onto all of our shopping lists this time of year as we prepare for weddings, graduations, pool parties and other events that may see us sob or schvitz. When applying, keep in mind, you only need waterproof mascara on the bottom lashes; the top lashes should get thin even coats of a lengthening/thickening formula. Since waterproof mascara dries out and clumps more quickly, you will get much better results using separate formulas for the top and bottom lashes. Additionally, removal is made half as difficult and much less abrasive!
