On A Personal Note...

I am gearing up for the big Cents of StyleŽ Workshop tour! I always get so excited about meeting you all and sharing my own brand of thrifty chic know-how! There is much fun in store, many fashion epiphanies to share and I guarantee you will never look at your closet the same way again. I can't wait to see ya!

To all of you who have reached out to me about Hurricane Katrina and my family on the Gulf Coast, they are all alive and doing the best they can under the circumstances. I thank you for your prayers and kindness. To all of you who have suffered loss or have family and friends who have suffered loss of any kind during this trying time, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

P.S. Starting Over begins season three this week! This year promises to be full of surprises... Stay tuned!

Night time temps have us reaching for an extra layer... I guess it's time to break out the sweaters! After sitting in the top of your closet, in a box in your attic, or worse... in a plastic storage container, your sweaters need a little refreshing. Save a little the cash and put off a trip to the dry cleaners just yet; pop your sweaters in the dryer with a couple dryer sheets. Make sure to keep the dryer on Fluff and let'er tumble for about 30 minutes. Your sweaters will reclaim their original shape, feel much softer and smell delightful.
