Dear Friend,
 On A Personal Note...
The leaves are changing here in NY and just like the trees I’m ready to richen my wardrobe and rotate my closet!
As many of you know, I live in less than 550 sq. ft. here in Manhattan (insert gasp here!) and I rotate and evaluate my clothing twice a year. I always take stock of what I
wore this past season and what I want to wear
the coming season.
If I haven’t worn it in a year, it doesn’t fit well, looks tattered or simply doesn’t convey the image I want people to see, it gets donated, tailored or
sent to the resale boutique for consignment.
Hanging onto clothes that do not suit you and make you feel fabulous is both a waste of time and space. You waste time pilfering your closet for items you actually like and golly knows the space we waste on unwanted garments is downright appalling...statistically 80% of our
closet is only used 20% of the time! And wouldn’t a little extra closet space for the things we actually like and want to wear be nice?
The frustration of having a closet full of clothes and nothing to wear, should tell you it is time for you to do a little evaluating of your own. Don’t blindly put
away your summer things, really look at them and consider if the garment works to create better shape, conveys the message you want and falls into the LOVE LOVE LOVE category.
Your clothes should work for you like a wardrobe workforce, so take a couple of hours and do some closet weeding. You can do it! I believe in you!

Sale Rack
The sale rack is looking pretty bare by the end of September and full priced garments are hanging like grapes on every other rack. For true thrifty divas, this is the time
of year to shop for perspective!
Take a lap or two around your local high-end department store and check out what all of the designers are doing this season. Look at fabrics, color palettes, silhouettes
and styles, then take that knowledge back to your closet and then on to your favorite discount store.
In just a few weeks, prices will start to fall and items will begin to work their way on to the sale rack; just be patient. Remember the key to a bargain is TIME...TIME to
find the best places to shop for you and your body...TIME for the hunt...and TIME to wait for things to go on sale!
