Dear Friend,
 On A Personal Note...
What a month! Thank you all so much for supporting me and coming out to my
Cents of StyleŽ Workshops across the country. I had a wonderful time meeting so
many of you and teaching my strategies for closet organization, the power
of the perfect bra (everyone's favorite), budget wardrobe building
and how to make a major image shift by just changing one thing.
I would like to thank the many wonderful sponsors who helped make the Cents of
StyleŽ Workshop tour so successful. Daisy Blue Naturals, Cookie Lee, Mary Kay,
Jo Lynn Bartlett FLLC, Think Thoughtful.Com and Spanx all contributed to the
fabulous door prizes and registration packets. You made this tour extra special
for all of us!
In addition to my Workshops, this month also found me working in Los Angeles on
a few special secret projects that I am super excited about... all will be
revealed soon... I also helped launch the new
GO RED
movement for the American Heart Association. Did you know that more women in
our country die of heart decease than the next six causes of death combined,
including all cancers? I was floored to learn that. In the coming year I will
be working with the AHA to help spread the word about how to
GO RED
in your own fashion!
I hope this message finds you healthy, happy and excited about the upcoming
holidays. Remember that we gladly gift wrap and ship Cents of StyleŽ Accessory
Suites and Andy Paige Cosmetic Brush Sets to help ease the burden of holiday
stress. We look forward to helping you make a fabulous impression with a
thoughtful gift the ladies in your life will love.
Be happy! Be Beautiful! Be Thrifty!
Love and Trust,

Have You Tried...
Andrea Eye Qs Eye MakeUp Remover Pads?
I am always looking for a product
that will help me remove my eye make-up with little tugging and pulling on my
delicate eye area. I love these pads for that reason, but find the moisturizing
the most effective.
The moisturizing pads are a little oily, so if you're uncomfortable with that,
choose the oil-free pads. Once I remove my eye make-up I then wash my face,
which washes away any oily residue. These are great for travel and a slam dunk
bargain for under $4 bucks!

 Tips
After hundreds of questions about mineral make-up, I finally went out and
bought some so I could give an honest opinion about it. I know that there has
been lots of hype and stir about a loose powder foundation... that then needs
to be set with another powder... and oh by the way, the concealer is a powder
too!?!?
I originally hesitated to try it because I didn't like the fact that many
mineral make-up companies claim that the make-up is so beneficial you can sleep
in it. Well, the make-up might be good for you... but the day's dirt, oil and
gunk will age your skin, clog your pores, cause breakouts and needs to be
washed off EVERYDAY before you go to bed... let's just get that straight right
now. Sleeping in your make-up is never a good message!
So after wearing the makeup for a couple of weeks, here is what I think. Some
days I loved it and some days I thought it looked cakey. On the days that I
loved it, I felt like it enhanced my skin and gave me a clear veil of coverage.
I brushed it on my legs and arms to even out my skin tone for a media event and
I loved how it looked! That was really cool. I also like how it blends without
streaks or lines.
However, you have to be super, super careful not to overload your brush with
product or the results look too heavy. The other thing that I noticed is that
it gets darker as the day goes on and your own natural oils start to kick in. I
would definitely recommend opting for a shade lighter than what you think you
need. After two days, I went back and got a lighter shade and it still looked a
little dark on me by afternoon.
It was also a little messy for me because I am always traveling. The top sifted
portion of the jar stayed full because of all of the jostling in my luggage. As
a result I was constantly opening the sifter and pouring excess product back
into the bottom of the jar. This caused it to go everywhere and I lost a lot of
product; but if there's too much in the top sifted portion, the application
ends up too heavy.
I had a couple of quick dash moments where I didn't take the time to apply
moisturizer first and I found that the powder settled into the pores around my
nose and made them look worse, so a little hydro-prep is a must. The powder can
also gather in fine lines if you aren't careful; so again, proper application
is the key!
I take care of my skin religiously, so I can't say that I have seen a huge
difference or benefit, but it hasn't hurt. Many people love it, so if you are
curious, give it a shot with the understanding that best results will come with
an application of a light moisturizer first, a steady hand with minimal product
on the brush and the choice of a shade lighter than you expected.
